WHY BRAZIL

The world's largest sugarcane ethanol industry sits above world-class storage geology.

Brazil's sugarcane and corn ethanol industry concentrates hundreds of mills in the Center-South, releasing high-purity biogenic CO₂ at some of the lowest capture costs of any stationary source. Beneath the same region, the Paraná sedimentary basin offers deep saline formations with storage potential estimated in the hundreds of gigatonnes. Brazil's Fuel of the Future Law (Law 14,993/2024) has established the legal foundation for CO₂ storage, with authorizations of up to 30 plus 30 years under ANP regulation. Endura was created to connect these three advantages into one platform.
